During the pandemic, when everyone was stuck at home and behind their screens, I decided to start taking long walks in the forest. Honestly, my love for the weird and odd had been lifelong, but in the forests around the town I grew up in it really blossomed. My walks in the forest to escape a full house and to stretch my legs turned into real hunts for bones and skeletons of the animals who had lived their lives there.
The hunt itself was fun and relaxing, I quickly learned everything I could online on how to clean them, and my parents house and garden became full of my buckets of bones still in the cleaning process.
For some reason, which I wish I could remember, I tried to make something nice out of them – and then I couldn’t stop.
I have been working with teeth and bones for my little shop for around four years now, and I have met and made amazing friends. I have always loved how much people seem to enjoy what I make, and that just makes me want to make more.
Ive been doing this fulltime for more than a year now, and im living my very best life. I enjoy playing boardgames, watching movies and playing videogames, and of course, hanging out with friends.
